Belo Horizonte, Brazil (Sports Network) -
Nnamdi Oduamadi scored a hat trick as Nigeria easily coasted past Group B minnows Tahiti on Monday by a 6-1 score in Confederations Cup play.
As expected, Nigeria had its way for the most part against the Oceania representative, which has just one professional player on its roster.
Goals from Elderson and Oduamadi in the opening 10 minutes got Nigeria off the mark, while Oduamadi added his second goal of the contest in the 26th minute after a terrible error from Tahiti goalkeeper Xavier Samin.
